About

Background

Founded in 2024 by Greg Borchers, BPC builds on his lifelong passion and dedication to sports. As a competitive hockey and soccer player, Greg achieved notable successes, including five high school state championships and two collegiate conference titles in soccer. His collegiate career brought him additional accolades, including all-region and Academic All-American honors, leading to professional tryouts before he transitioned to adult leagues to continue enjoying the game.

Professionally, Greg has served as a youth soccer club director and coached at youth, ODP, and collegiate levels. His experience highlighted the crucial role of mental performance in athletic success, inspiring him to pursue a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis on Performance Psychology from Grand Canyon University. His research focused on athletes’ motivation and the external environment’s role in developing different motivational strategies. Though the research focuses on motivation, his expertise extends to key performance areas such as grit, resilience, communication, self-belief, team dynamics, and cultivating a strong team culture. Drawing on this academic knowledge and 15 years of coaching experience, Greg founded BPC to support athletes, teams, and organizations in reaching peak performance.
